PetHub (petcalculators.org) is an open educational initiative dedicated to providing transparent, scientifically validated calculators for dogs and cats. We bridge the gap between complex veterinary research papers and everyday pet parenting decisions.

Why PetHub Exists: Defeating the "7-Year Myth"

For generations, dog owners were taught that every calendar year equals seven dog years. Cat owners struggled to interpret confusing feeding charts on commercial bags that led to unprecedented pet obesity rates. Meanwhile, online pet tools were either bloated with intrusive pop-up ads or offered arbitrary numbers with zero scientific justification.
